special interest groups

In the second half of every semester, we offer Special Interest Groups that examine a variety of issues in-depth. The topics of SIGs vary according to the interests and expertise of the current Studio faculty and students. All Studio participants must join at least one SIG, attend and fully participate in all of the sessions of that SIG. All SIG members are expected to complete all assigned SIG readings and activities. No formal projects are required in a SIG, instead you should try to incorporate the SIG’s concepts and principles in your Studio project.
