Wow, this is an excellent project. Let me just preface this by saying that there's so many things that are great, and so few things that are not, that I'm only going to hit on the points I liked the most in the Strengths section. Similarly, the Weaknesses are just nit-picking.

Strengths

  • I absolutely love the Etch-a-Sketch treatment. It's creative and fun.
  • Nice work with the navigation bar. I like the balloon tips and especially the animation of the last and next buttons. Also, I like the mouseovers on the navigation icons.
  • I like the continuity used throughout the project. For example, I like that the continue button similar across the project, only changing size depending on context.
  • The background images are excellent. They add a lot to the project without taking attention away from the foreground.
  • Likewise, good use of fonts. They manage to convey different contexts well without distracting the user.
  • I like the different types of questions in the Take the Challenge section. Making the evaluation fun and interesting should help keep the user interested and into it.

Weaknesses

  • On the Commissioner's Rules of Procedure page, the title "Suspension of Rules" is not centered. For reference, this is located on the popup between screens 9 and 10 in the Information and Procedure section.
  • When the user enters the Take the Challenge section by clicking the "Take the Challenge" arrow within either of the three content sections, the button highlighting on the navigation bar does some weird things.

This project is just awesome, and that's not even taking the video aspect into account. The Digital by Design team stepped up to a huge challenge and hit a home run.
