Your project is very professional looking and well done. It's been quite difficult trying to think of weaknesses, and trying to cut down my list of strengths, but here goes.

Strengths

  • My favorite sections of your project were the Flash interactions. They were extremely well done (although I did have a few suggestions - see below), and I think they help learners maintain interest in the course.
  • The self-assessment questions give immediate feedback to the learners, which should help a great deal in making the information stick in their minds. For that reason, it's also helpful that learners cannot move forward in the course without answering the self-assessment questions.
  • The post test is also a strength, as it determines what level of knowledge the learners leave with. Additionally, the reward of a certificate in recognition of passing the course will help in motivating the learners.
  • Your pictures were very effective. They illustrated the conceptes in a way that mere photographs could not.

Weaknesses

  • Two concerns about the Flash interactions:
    • When the user successfully completes an interaction, they get the Good Job message. Sometimes, depending on where the last event was fired from, that message is cut off or hidden off screen.
    • On some of the interactions, when a user is incorrect, they are told so. However, on the drag and drops, if a user is incorrect, the label they're dragging snaps back without a message. Some better system of feedback would probably be helpful here.
  • There is no pretest, so the post test does not really tell you what learning has occurred.
  • The course is probably too long. It seems like it could easily divide into two smaller courses.

This was probably the best project I've seen in EDIT Studio. Keep up the good work!
