Your project is quite interesting. I never guessed there were so many things to learn about giving a facial.

Strengths

  • The color scheme is very soothing, and appropriate for the content.
  • I like your snail!
  • The video is well shot, and the dialog very concise.
  • Saving the video in mp4 format allows the file size to be much smaller, which will be helpful in distributing this in the future. While mp4 is not the best compression available, it is more readily available than, for instance, the DivX codec. You made a good technilogical choice there.

Weaknesses

  • Once the intro runs through, instead of having the user click to enter the demo, I think the browser should redirect to the start page.
  • The conceptual breadcrumb is out of order, probably due to a change in what order the pages come in. Also, I think that the breadcrumb should itself be links to the other steps.
  • The quiz uses option buttons to fire javascript events and trigger feedback. This is not a generally accepted use of option buttons, and doesn't work well using the keyboard without the mouse; some users may have accessibility issues with it. I would suggest select boxes, or just buttons.
  • The primary navigation (Intro, Get Started, Home, Test Your Skills) always has one item missing - the current section. In general, that can be distracting to users, and I would suggest leaving all of the links on each page.

Overall, I'd say that your project is doing very well, and only needs minor changes before the showcase.
